I've been cutting my own hair for 30 or so years and over the years have used a lot of different clippers. These stack up well but when it comes to actually cutting hair, they seem a little bit below one of the more expensive Wahl versions you'd find on the Wal-Mart shelves. It is the first set of wireless clippers I've used and not having a cord makes it so much easier to use them.The clippers arrived with close to a full charge and I topped off the charge using the included USB cord before actually using them. After using the clippers to shave my head the charge shown on the display dropped from 100% to 96%. You could probably get up to 20 uses out of them depending, of course, on how long each use was. The clippers come with a handful of guards and the guards seem flimsier than those that have come with clippers purchased in the past. I used the guards from older clippers and they did fit these clippers so these clippers appear to be "standard" size. They also come with a little brush that can be used to brush hair off the clippers.They DO NOT come with any kind of hard case for storage and transportation. They don't come with a brush for getting the hair off your neck. They don't come with clipper oil and they don't come with a comb or scissors. Any $50 set of clippers should come with those accessories.After using these clippers, the end result was just as good as with any clippers I've used in the past. I felt like I had to go over some spots a little more than with other clippers. The lack of accessories and and a hard case is disappointing at the $50 price point. I'd give the clippers themselves 4 stars, the accessories 2 stars and the overall value for $50 3 stars. These are solid clippers and the cordless feature is awesome as is the display that shows the amount of charge in the battery but I think there are better cordless clipper sets out there at this price.
