Once a good product, spoiled by yet another subscription fee.
When I bought it for $20 3 years ago there was no subscription fee to use the smart plug. Then I would recommend the product. Now it costs no money. It's a big, bulky surge protector with no smart features if you don't want to pay a monthly fee. I don't know about you, but I won't pay $5 a month to turn on a fan at night. Especially when other non-subscription smart plug options are available. If they ever decide to ditch the subscription fee, we can revisit this issue. The subscription fee is the only thing that instantly makes a product a 1 star.
