Not practical, does not work as advertised,

I spent two hours assembling this lidded shelf. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. The picture showing how to attach the rope to the clamps doesn't help, it's too small and doesn't have a lot of detail. I had to figure out how to attach the lid clips through trial and error. Then you have to line them all up, and moving on the rope after trying to attach the clamps gets even worse. The instructions should state that if you want to attach all of the lid clips, you need a 4" gap between each clip for balance. The fewer clamps you mount, the greater the distance between the clamps. Instead, you have to find out for yourself. The instructions should have given us a starting point. Finally, trying to attach 3 hats to one clip is not as easy as shown in the video. No one has just one type of cap. The hats come in different thicknesses, some have a mesh back, some are all cotton, some with big or small buttons and some without... I wasn't too concerned about showing my hats when I tried to find something to secure them without crushing them or falling on them. Floor. It is impossible, if not impractical, to attempt to fit three caps to one clip. Combat clips just irritate my fingertips and I don't want to experience them with every hat change. I'm really disappointed, at this point I had to understand that I could do something more useful. It comes back because it really isn't what it says it is, at least not for me. It's also overpriced.

Pros
  • understandable also for old
Cons
  • for old
