The boots wore well and I loved them for the first two months, then the sole detached from the real boot. I don't do extreme hikes or anything, just wear them to work in the IT office. The fact that they broke after 2 months in the office tells me they are cheap and short lived. I have requested a replacement pair and will update this comment if the replacement pair lasts more than 2 months, otherwise I will request a refund. UPDATE: After receiving a replacement pair of boots, they broke in the same place. (left finger). Cheap shoes that cannot even be worn in the office. Disappointed in Volkom. Luckily Revain behaved well and refunded my money after the second pair turned out to be defective as well.
