If the top tube is being removed or replaced be sure to purchase a quality metal spacer such as this one. I have always used these genuine Subaru seals and have never had a problem. The metal and paper sandwich pads that some people sell or come with top tubes just aren't durable, you end up having to take them off and replace them after a year. Better spend the extra money and play it safe.
