The good and the bad

This little inverter came at the perfect time as we use 12 volt solar power to power the lights in our house and the previous inverter we bought always did blows fuses again - too big for the load. This inverter easily connects to our little solar backup panel and blows merrily to light us up in the dark. Yay! The bugs first appeared after we ran it for a day for about a week. First in the morning when starting up the fan would start making a crazy noise (which is saying something as the fan is never silent) and then it would start flickering and wouldn't start on the first button press. Every morning it took 3-5 attempts to start. About a month after buying it, it just wouldn't turn on. The inverter is connected to a Blue Sea Systems fuse panel, which in turn is directly connected to a Renogy 12V solar panel. it just wasn't built to run more than 12 hours a day, but anyway we have another donation for a local e-waste recycling plant.
