I have boys aged 13-5. Appropriate height and weight for them are sufficient for individual rest. Carried my weight of 210 pounds so sturdy. The straps are thick polyester rope, when pulled they reach about 3 feet and when fully stretched they reach about 9-10. We hung from an industrial 12 foot braid and its length is perfect for toddlers to climb on their own. It was there for 3 weeks in 100 degree weather, used by my kids and neighbors kids and ran great. You will need to purchase a heavy swing connector separately, we used a horseshoe ring for a 200lb punching bag. Won't wobble in design unless you buy a ball joint connector
