About 33 percent of the time, food storage devices fail to remove the air from these bags. We've spent a lot of time trying to figure out why - is it moisture, food debris, oil, crumpled pockets? we can't find anything. All I know is that about a third of the time I have to take the food out of the bag, throw it out and try a new one. It's tedious, time consuming and makes this product less cost effective. Also with this product make sure you seal the end twice - the seal on this product is less strong than the food seal and we had air leaks in the bag in the fridge.
