Gr8 stainless steel meat thermometer. The head must be bigger, otherwise there will be 5 stars in all "performance ratings". I can read this now if you open the oven door to read this, but then all the heat is lost. If the head were bigger, you could read it through the glass. Younger eyes may not have this problem, older eyes do. I like the flat bottom, it allows the thermometer to sit flat and not roll over you.
