Review on PortfolioLounge by Bill Kodba
This website allows you to create a portfolio of your work, and then share it with others.
What's great about this site is that it provides a space where creatives can showcase their portfolios in a secure environment. What could be improved upon is the fact that the portfolio uploads are slow and take ages to process, and also that they don't have any filters for uploading portfolios (ie - it's impossible to add keywords). Also the pricing structure seems a bit confusing, especially for new users who may have little experience with the industry. - More filtering options when adding categories to your portfolio items would make them easier to find/find specific content within - Pricing information should clearly state how much you pay per month as opposed to how many hours of work you'll get done if you're paying monthly vs yearly or something like that..
- There are a lot of people posting their portfolios, so you can easily filter down to what kind of stuff you want to see.
- It's definitely got a clean look to it, and you know that someone worked hard to get to this point and create something awesome.
- They are very strict on having 100% original material.
- The whole system seems rather clunky.
