I like the shape of the product, that it is screwed to the mounting plate and that the connectors rotate. What I did not like is the optics of the amplifier, the rating of the USB ports can be overstated. I have an AA battery charger that shows how much current it's charging, up to 2.0 amps. Since this device is rated at 3.4 amps, it should have no problem delivering 2.0 amps into a single outlet. I've used this charger with a few other USB adapters and it's always been fine, but with this unit it doesn't seem to be able to deliver more than 1.5 amps. Maybe the power rating of 3, 4 amps evenly split between the two USB ports, you won't get the fastest charging speed your devices can use. I have to admit this is my pet, there's no reason these USB plugs can't deliver more current, but it's almost impossible to find a socket, adapter, etc that even does 2.0 amps for a single USB -Supply ports. that you're not getting the fastest charging speed your devices can use.
