I have always used these reverse osmosis membranes since I installed them in my home reverse osmosis system. This gives an average of about 8 TDS from an incoming tap of 250 TDS. This year, the city's water supply has suddenly increased to about 450. So I figured this might still give a relatively good failure rate. The sediment filter was replaced along with the carbon filters. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the TDS of the filtered water didn't even come close to a 98% deviation. Disappointed for sure, but maybe it's just me. Went back to the old cheaper filter. TDS was as good as ever.
