Review on High Performance 50mm x 15mm 12V Cooling Blower Fan, Dual Ball Bearing DC Brushless, 2 Pin Ternimal, Model BB5015H12 by Francisco Russell

I have tried the capacitor mod along with the 280uF, 2.2uF and 10uF mod but the PWM repeater firmware is just too slow to be reliable Fan control along with a 400Hz PWM module. Capacitor mods act like motor starting caps, giving them the ability to start with very low duty cycles, but the fan regulates its own PWM to the best of its ability, and there is no noticeable difference in airflow between 50% and 100% at 15Hz PWM Follower and PWM controller 400 Hz PWM. In short, this fan is ideal for environments where you need to push a lot of air into a small space with a variable power supply, but this characteristic makes it unsuitable for a fan for 3D printer parts as it responds poorly to PWM
