This meat thermometer comes in very handy when grilling and in the kitchen. I compared the BBQ GO thermometer to a temperature-controlled kettle and another instant-read thermometer (both are known to give accurate temperature readings). The BBQ GO thermometer matched other temperature readings, so right away it seems very accurate. However, if necessary, the thermometer can be calibrated. I like the convenience that the thermometer is magnetic and can be stored on the fridge. It's smaller than my other instant-read thermometer when the probe is stored separately, which is a nice feature. All in all a great thermometer!
