For me this is almost the perfect hair dryer. It doesn't get any hotter than any hair dryer I've had, but that's a plus for me. I have thin and thin hair and too high a temperature can cause discomfort on the scalp. It still dries your hair very quickly. I don't find it too loud compared to other dryers. The cord length is good, long and thick so there are no tangling issues. The weight is comfortable and the shape is straight rather than tapered so it doesn't slide off my small bathroom counter when I set it on the floor. Thanks to its compact size, it also easily fits in a storage basket. My only downside is the way the attachments are attached. If you use a diffuser there is no problem as it is not directional. Insert the concentrator into the grooves with the nozzle horizontal, then twist to lock. I've always preferred to use the nozzle horizontally, which isn't possible with this dryer, it just drains. So now I just give it up. Otherwise great dryer!
