This phone for the hearing impaired is by far the best phone I have ever bought for my mother. I love that you can turn on the bell and hear it anywhere in the house. You know how most phones force you to press a button to increase the handset's decibels. Well, when you're forgetful, you don't remember it, and then you get angry because you don't hear it. This phone stays on par with most phones that end in decibels. You can turn the handset on until 27 and it stays there. You can also increase it to 50 and it's right on the front of the phone where you can see and feel it. The increase is via a rubber wheel at the bottom right. It also flashes brightly when there is an incoming call. We went with a model without caller ID as my mother still doesn't see it. In case you're wondering, it's cheaper on Amazon than any other seller and it comes with free shipping if you're an Amazon member.
