I doubted this product would actually work but decided to give it a try. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised that there were 2 in the box, I missed that in detail. Upon opening I noticed that it smelled like chemicals hence the 4 star rating. The product is delivered without instructions or product insert. The only information you get is the Revain post. I washed the product with soap and water before use. Didn't remove the smell. I noticed small symbols on the inside edge that show the maximum heating temperature, the maximum cooling temperature and the dishwasher safety. I plan on putting it in the dishwasher to see if it helps get rid of the smell. I used it to strain the small clams that often get stuck in the holes of a regular colander. It attached easily to a small pot and stretched fabulously. I have not lost 1 projectile. I was shocked. The clips that attach it to the pot seem flimsy and they're metal, so I'm curious as to how often they can be used and if they're prone to corrosion or rusting. For the price I think this is a good gadget to have on hand.
