I don't know why they included the gloves, they are useless. The porous fabric doesn't hold back the wind, the hard knuckles don't seem to survive a 5-year-old's karate lesson and the seams rip. But the helmet. I'll start by saying that I've only worn one-piece full-face helmets for the past 30 years. A flip jaw is a game changer for me. I wear glasses and they have always been uncomfortable to wear with a helmet and never fit properly. I can't wear contacts, but I try again about every two or three years just because helmets squeeze and vibrate my glasses and long trips give me a headache. Then I lose my sight due to acute conjunctivitis and within a month on steroid eye drops to get back to my normal life I permanently refuse contact. Until next time. But this helmet saved me from repeating that. Lift your jaw and the goggles are instantly in place and easily adjusted for your comfort. The helmet is nice and snug fitting but without tying the glasses temples. I would give it 5 stars for the fit alone - the best helmet I have ever had, even barring goggle issues. The cheek hinge makes a solid impression. I've had it for three months and I drive to TX all year round, at least several times a week. Even at lower temperatures I don't notice much air loss. It has a small slider that lowers the tinted windshield behind the clear one, and you can either slide it back or it retracts with a jaw movement. I'm not a big fan of sunglasses and it's never been worth swapping out the windshields for my other helmets, so it's good for a few minutes of sunset/dawn in the near sun. Bluetooth is reliable, connects easily to the phone. The controls are a bit odd in my opinion, but easy enough to get used to. Love the built in Bluetooth - I've had a few externally installed ones in the past that have always had some issues, but so far it's worked flawlessly. A bit weak in volume. Up to 45-50 I hear perfectly. At 60, I can't listen to (or presumably call) podcasts, but the music is okay. I bought this helmet at the same time as another bike, so I can't say for sure if the new bike is louder, or if they just have a lower volume upstairs. But in all honesty, when I'm wearing a helmet at home, it's pretty loud, and cranking the volume up significantly for hours on the road is probably not a good thing in the long run. Overall, I really like the new helmet. .
