Always looking for a star at the top of my tree. I've never seen the one I like. So I bought this thing online which is made up of 16 cones, all opaque white plastic. All are connected with dozens of fasteners. Has a bright light inside. Assembled it is a multi-pointed star. But the fasteners are visible in bright light and it looks silly. And it doesn't go with the tree. So I ripped out the light set. Removed the rear cone. Fill it in with some of the lights that are on the tree. Now it looks great. Zippers are no longer the first thing you see. And I can change the color of the lights - there are 20 or 24 different combinations. So the color of the star always matches the lights on the tree. I'm in love! And it's absolutely safe. Hooray!
