These are four separate knives that can be purchased separately but are very good value as a set. I can best describe her as beautiful, sharp and balanced. They will definitely be a great addition to your regular knife set. There are probably better knife sets out there as some cost hundreds of dollars more, but for $100 you can't go wrong with these. The only thing unknown is their durability hence I can only give them 4 stars. The only thing that confuses me is that the company doesn't make display unit holders. Gift boxes are nice, but seriously. You won't keep them if you use them all the time. Yes . There are many magnetic knife holders out there, but most of them are light (or black) and don't quite match these knives!
