Revainrating 3 out of 5

Better than 4 stars but not 5 stars

What I like. Size, small, compact and light. The speaker is clear at low volume, the volume is higher than about 1/4. (Remember you won't get stereo with a single speaker, so don't expect that). This is not a BOOM box, just good volume to listen in a room. Sensitivity is good, I live in the country and get FM stations over 60 miles away and lots of stations. AM radio is typical AM reception, less clear and fading and fading. (no radio, only natural AM) Solar panel indicates charging in the shade or better in natural daylight. What is missing, no headphone jack, it would be nice to have the possibility of private listening. The LED lights up when the transmitter reaches maximum signal strength. Because an analogue dial radio is so small, turning the dial to find a station requires very fine tuning. The dial could have been smoother to improve station centering. This works, but could be smoother. color options; I'd like to see it in a more muted natural color: OD, Khaki, Coyote Brown, Desert Tan, etc.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Fair enough, but...
