I bought these pedals for my road bike that I attach to a stationary spinner. It is convenient to just stop on the pedals without having to put my clipless shoes on and clip in. The non clipless pedals I was using, allowed my sneakers to slip forward during my workouts. I was constantly having to re-adjust my foot placement on those pedals. With these pedals, any shoe I use stays where I place them during the whole workout! I am happy to have found this type of pedal. I will install my clipless again when I get back on the road. These pedals will be standard for spinning from now on!
