We bought 3 packs of flexible cutting mats, cut them slightly smaller than the inside size of the glove, rounded the corners, rolled them up, glued one by one, smoothed the inside (had 6) to create a hard, flat wash surface. Measured the distance between the truck and the RV, used a PVC pipe to make it fit, overlapping about 2/3 of the distance. Protected cut. Tape end into PVC to prevent mitt tearing. Central PVC insert sandwiched between equal layers of cutting mat. Use a long, narrow piece of tape to attach the cuff of the glove to the PVC on each side, then wrap layers of tape securely over and over. Holds up very well. Used Dawn Ultra rinsed in hot water in a bucket as a cleaning solution. Most contaminants were removed quickly, some required additional cleaning. I used a thin, powerful spray nozzle for rinsing. The glove with the hand on top and the PVC inside was also perfect for the truck body. Dirt is simply washed off in a bucket during use. The mitten ended up being washed in the kitchen sink so quickly and easily. Nobody makes anything that can do it in such a limited space, let alone for little money. Safe to drive again. Hooray!
