Review on 🚰 12 oz NALGENE Tritan Grip-N-Gulp BPA-Free Water Bottle in Slate Blue by Kevin Mariappan

I was looking for a handy water bottle for my 2 year old son. At home, he uses a Skip Hop baby cup with a built-in silicone straw so he can easily take larger sips when he's thirsty. I wanted something similar but with less risk of leakage. I thought I found the perfect solution from Nalgene, a company I have a positive history with. This mug is well built, durable and very easy to clean. I like the wide opening that you can easily fill with ice and the ability to attach the bottle to your backpack. However, my son has to work VERY hard to get a big sip of water. I've done everything the previous reviewers suggested - removed the silicone gasket, pinched it, gently poked the hole with a knife, etc. - all without much success. A well made mug if you want to take small sips but for a toddler with minimal patience for anything non-play it's a disappointment.
