I used it incorrectly at first because I cut off the tops of the cloves before trying to clean them. I have worked with the company and thank them for their help. It turns out that cutting off the tops of the cloves introduces moisture, which interferes with peeling. When I tried it once without cutting off the ends of the cloves, it worked like magic! I actually made some cloves while cooking and it was such an easy and quick way to peel garlic! In fact, I am very pleased with such a simple but effective device. Definitely recommend it!
