I bought this switcher to connect a PC, cable box, and a Roku to my TV, which only has two HDMI inputs. When I first hooked everything up, the PC worked just fine. The Roku and the cable box began displaying a message about HDCP compliance. The PC was the only new item in the mix, so I plugged it directly into the TV. I was still getting the HDCP messages from the Roku and cable box. I updated the HDMI cables and that seemed to fix the problem. However, after a few days, I started getting the HDCP message from the cable box.So now I have to make sure the switcher is set to the cable box as input while the cable box is turned off. Then I have to turn off the switcher, and turn on the cable box. Once the cable box ix on, I can turn on the switcher. I'll sometimes get a temporary HDCP message, but then it gives me the channel picture and lets me watch TV.I knocked off a star because I can't use the PC with this switch, which was to main reason I bought it. Neither the Roku nor the cable box will work if the PC is connected to this switch at the same time.
