Review on Saucony S10551 35 Kinvara Running Blackout Sports & Fitness for Running by Johnny Nguyen

I have a high arch 9.5-10, a foot half a size too small, overall a medium size. I bought 10.5 because shoes usually run small. Not the case with this shoe, my smaller foot was floating so unfortunately I had to return it but will buy again in a smaller size. However, they are ideal for those with high arches or those who are good at splaying their toes when exercising. The finger box is spacious. Very soft but not soft. No sharp drop like some shoes. The color is rich turquoise. I bought this shoe again in size 10. The toe box is still large, meaning the forefoot moves with friction. Very soft and comfortable for a 6 mile walk, my knees don't hurt at all afterward. One thing that bothers me about the design is the rigid internal construction with low cure. This prevents the shoe from slipping on even with a long shoehorn. I assume this will cause it to wear out prematurely. My question is why, what is the added benefit if nobody has such an underfoot that it needs padding all over. In my opinion, this reduces the durability and stability of the product, which is what I would expect from a top-of-the-line running shoe. This is so annoying I would not buy again and will be returning any future models with this feature.
