FORK POINTS THE CABLE UP THE WALL NOT THE FLOOR
I ordered two of these and found that the plug runs the cable up the wall and not to the floor. STUNNING! It couldn't be seen in the photo as placing the 3rd pin causes the cable to go UP instead of down to the ground. Perhaps there are differences in the way sockets are built into building walls. Make sure YOUR outlet has the third pin DOWN of the three pin holes, if any.
