Look, there are quite a few of these for sale here and on eBay. Most of them have sharp edges or the filters don't tighten enough to remove all the dirt. These filters work great. Here's how I use them. Pour oil into the fryer, fry, then turn off to cool.2. After cooling, put the funnel back into the original oil bottle.3. Leave a little "filter" which is waste for straining the oil.4. Slowly pour the cooled oil into the filter.5. Put the cap back on the bottle.6. Clean the filter with Dawn.7 dishwashing liquid. Let dry and then remove. Unless I tear the filter, I expect this thing to last a VERY long time. I use both vegetable oil and canola oil for frying and get about 4-5 uses per bottle. Without this filter, you can still "save" your oil, but without passing the crumbs, you won't get more than two uses of the oil. Look, this is what you need. Click the Buy Now button and get back to frying! :P
