Top Seam Leakage

I was happy to find a replacement for my filtrete, but once the charcoal had soaked and the water flowed for the suggested 5 minutes (filtrete recommended), I searched the kitchen floor and under the sink for water. The Crystala filter was leaking in the top seam of the unit itself, not in conjunction with the Filtrete system. I didn't take any chances with the second one I bought as a backup.

Pros

Filter Life: Recommended filter change every 6 months or every 300 gallons for optimal performance.
