I was really upset when I saw Cooler Master scrap the Hyper t2 as it was my favorite under $20 aftermarket heatsink. After some searching in Revain I found what appeared to be almost a spiritual successor. 2 heatpipes, 92mm fan and less than 160mm height. I decided to try a personal HTPC with an i5-2400 processor and immediately saw my temperature drop. From the 80's, which were heavily influenced by gaming, to the mid 60's, I couldn't be happier. The fan glows blue, which reminds me of late '00s and early 10s customs, so don't expect it to be too bright. The fan is also pretty quiet. The attachment system is very simple, a "ring and pin" system that seems to be very common on cheaper HSFs. I've used it twice since then, again on a different i5-2400 and am seeing the same results with temperature control. Highly recommended, will continue to buy for customers.
