They are smaller than most pillows I've received but they work just as well. I use them in place of cedar shavings for our guinea pigs. It's a lot easier to clean the cage when you can roll up a hill and throw it in the washing machine, less waste and less cost. I usually use the big ones, but I've found that if your cage isn't the same size as the others, the small ones are fine. I've tried a variety of ways to make clearing out the massive amount of poo that guinea pigs pass easier. The best choice would be not to have guinea pigs, but since I can't fix this bug, they work.
