I also bought these 5/16 some with 3/8" hole terminals, I've used 3/8" on the battery terminals and they fit just about everything else, starter, new fuse link, the I added the generator (with files), I poured solder into the fittings, wrapped the wire with more solder, put on heat shrink tubing, pushed the 2 ga wire into the fitting until it bottomed, I then used my hydraulic crimping tool ( which I really liked) and crimped connectors, then I also used a small butane torch and melted the solder after it cooled,
