Review on 🔵 Ikea Gray Blue Microwave Lid - Model 701.860.90 by Rodney Gonzalez

Let me start by saying that I love this device and have been using it successfully for several months without any problems. However, we recently tried cooking rice in the microwave and the instructions say 20 minutes. About 15 minutes later I returned to the room to check in and the kitchen and next part of the house was filled with very thick erratic smoke which was really nauseating. While we were able to rid the house of this smoke, there was an internal "stench" in the microwave that we cannot remove. Although I like to use the product within its capabilities; There should be some sort of post or notice to indicate the time limits of its use before it explodes! I really didn't want to write a bad review but feel I should do it just to draw attention to this issue - glad the fire didn't start! Surprisingly, however, I bought another appliance to use with the idea of never cooking with it for more than say 10 minutes?
