I wanted a small clock radio for my bedside table. But the blue light was too bright and scary. So I put it in the closet where there is an outlet so I can listen to the radio while I get dressed. The sound quality is good. I also had trouble pressing "alarm" instead of "on" waking us up in the middle of the night. I've since put a sticker on the alarm button to keep me from touching it. My husband wants me to try white light but I went back to my old one which isn't as good but at least the numbers are bright enough to see without being distracting.
