So I fully admit that these brushes are not intended for cleaning nail polish and nowhere in the description does it say that they are safe to use with acetone, but also not that they are safe. no Every brush I've ever used in acetone has survived at least a few cycles of acetone, no matter what the brush's intended use was or how cheap the brush was. These didn't last though - the only one I've used so far didn't survive the first round of acetone. The bristles are now sticky and hard, but they've also completely fallen off the handle in one big chunk. So... It's safe to say they are not safe for acetone. Since I intended to use them as a larger brush to quickly clean larger items like my stamp plates and they definitely won't work for that, I feel I can't give more than three stars. in acetone the bristles were quite soft and comfortable to the touch so I think they would at least be nice for applying makeup (I rarely use makeup so can't say for sure). The pens are absolutely amazing too, and the case they come in is quite nice - in my experience I'm just not sure how long they will last even if not used in acetone.
