This drive is fine for storing your files but it has a major flaw that almost forced me to return the 2 USB cables I bought. If you transfer files without moving them, both drives will become unresponsive and lose communication. I thought both records were bad and almost declared them garbage. But I decided to try new cables before going back and I'm glad I did. Both drives are now working properly. So if you decide to buy this drive, don't rely on the cable that came with it. I advise you to buy a good cable for it. I decided to deduct 2 stars.
