I love the Sketchers, they always fit well, are light and comfortable. My only problem - and the problem is me, not necessarily the shoes - is the heel. Maybe some older people will chime in and maybe opt for a different style of shoe. Arthritis in my hips and back makes it very difficult to reach my feet so slip-on shoes are a must. What I find about these shoes is that the material they are made of is so light and flexible (I didn't say it was thin) that it flexes under my heel every time I try to to put them on. It doesn't slip out easily when I move my foot, it just stays folded until I physically pull it out from under my foot, which is near impossible. I gave up on them and ordered a pair of clogs (but no Sketchers as I'm a bit mad at them now!)
