These are letter sizes and are invalid because the length is too long for a legal folder. But the advantage is that it can hold more folders because it's longer. The quality of the binder case is a little lighter than some of the more expensive ones, but the price saving is worth the small difference in quality. The bodice opens with a crease down the middle, which is also handy. Overall this is a good compromise and I would recommend it.
