Dear waffles, I love you. I'm obsessed with waffles. I am also 7 months pregnant. I subsisted on frozen waffles, which I thought were delicious, and then I bought these. Ouch. My. God. Let me just say - I read many waffle maker reviews before purchasing this one. And some reviews of this iron say that it's impossible to get the perfect waffle the first time. NOT CORRECT. Just follow the directions - oil the plates after the first cleaning (before using, mind you) and use a good recipe (I used one of all Recipes.com that had coconut oil instead of vegetable oil) and my waffle was absolute perfect the first time. . Since then I haven't stopped using it. We ate waffles every day and I don't expect that to stop. I love that it also takes up such a small area, but I don't think I'll ever put it down because I love it so much.
