Although I sent this case back I give it a solid 4 stars and if I could I would give it a 4.5. drop pill. It snaps into place very securely, it has a rubbery texture which I believe helps absorb shock well. I love that it can pivot in directions. The straps were good although I took mine off as that was a feature I didn't need, like the rear handle etc. I liked almost everything about it - only one thing I didn't did broke the deal. I mostly use my tablet in landscape mode and mostly on a soft surface (the armrest of the chair I'm sitting on). The stand is too narrow for it and my tablet has been dropped many, many times. I found a lower quality cover that takes up the full length of my device in landscape mode, which is what I need to play. Otherwise this is an incredibly wonderful case and I really can't say anything negative about it. It just doesn't fit my specific needs.
