Review on HARIO VHS 60B Double Vacuum Structure by Ananta Crowley

I've smashed quite a few V60 series glass servers so I bought these after looking for something permanent to cast. The design and the color (I chose red) really appealed to me and overall I think the Hario products are well made (albeit often very thin). This coffee set works very well and keeps my portions hot when I'm ready to drink them. The contents are not as warm as my Zojirushi travel mug (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HR0WZP4/ref=twister_B07JHZH8ZP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) but good for morning coffee. . Every guest I've made coffee for with this coffee set has commented on how great it looks. I probably wouldn't buy it again though. There are a few minor issues that make this product imperfect for me. These are: 1. As mentioned in other reviews, it is impossible to completely empty this coffee set with the lid closed. The design of the lid does not allow pouring the final amount of coffee. You need to remove the lid when you want to take your last sip of coffee.2. Speaking of the lid, it cannot be taken apart for cleaning. The plunger (the part that closes/opens the spout when you press the lid lever) cannot be removed and doesn't have enough room to effectively clean the lid where most of the coffee residue is found. After six months of use, the lid will smell like old, stale coffee no matter how many times you wash it. Also, after rinsing the cap, some liquid always stays in, no matter how hard I try to shake it dry. This is very annoying.3. The exterior color, although very attractive, is very delicate. It scratches very easily.
