I think I could buy something similar for my needs at Target or Wal-Mart or even go to Ikea (never thought of looking back), but the wife wanted something to put our games on that wasn't cluttered was the living room, but still looked good. The one she chose was more expensive than this one and the reviews were lacking so I chose this one and she was fine. It got to me much earlier than expected and was very easy to assemble. A part has what appears to be some kind of chip or dent that's been attached with some kind of glue or white putty, but it doesn't matter as it is small and the device arrived without major defects. Other things like stains that got scratched during shipping were easily covered up with the included black marker. Overall it seems worth the money and goes well with our living room. 9/10 just because of this small issue.
