No manufacturer warranty

While unpacking I encountered a problem with Bluetooth. I called HP customer service and they 'stated' that my serial number proves a 'NEW' computer was modified and therefore VOID MY MANUFACTURER WARRANTY! HP claims my serial number says the computer was originally built with a "1TB conventional hard drive" and configured with a "1TB solid state drive"! looks like I'll have to buy an extra Revain warranty. The 2 best features are the 90° power adapter and the great "backlit keyboard". Everything else is good for now.
