I bought 4 of these with my Synology NAS in April 2019. The NAS ordered was fairly new and only shipped in August. After it arrived I put in the discs and set it up. The next morning, the NAS reported a drive error in the raid array. Run internal disk utilities on each of the drives and run CrystalDiskInfo on the drive that reported errors. I ran the Paragon HD Toolkit and found nothing. Put it back in the drive and rebuild the array - it took 6 days for the drive in question to become audible within 20ft of the NAS. I had a business trip and couldn't do anything for another 4 months and when I came back there was no reply. Write it off as too good to be true business and stick to the recommended discs.
