Wow. I'm disappointed. I really needed this thing to work. I was very impressed with the video. I read some reviews on here about pen liquid leakage and thought it might happen, but maybe their quality control will be tightened. I received this block and it was partially covered with spilled liquid material - not much. But it's not the material you want on your skin, and there's no getting around it unless you open the packaging with a cloth or paper towel. Also, the body of the pen is a lot more flexible than I thought it would be. It looks like a hard black plastic drinking straw with filaments that don't seal well. All right, that's fine. But the LED didn't light up. There are two ways to activate it - by sliding down the switch that presses on one of the LEDs to make contact with the battery, or by pressing the padded battery case to do the same. Nothing. I don't know if the LED is defective or the battery is dead. I suspect the latter. I had an application that this article would be ideal for. But I can't use it and have to send it back. The replacement arrived today and the LED light was fully functional. I haven't noticed any leaks around the nib, but I can still expect them given the material they're made of. The product works as advertised although I would like to say that the resulting cured product is a little more flexible than it appears in the video. It's not glue, but if you have experience with actual metal welding, you'll have more. Success - for good strength you need to make a good strong mechanical connection. Updated rating from one star to four - for the product itself. It's not cat pajamas by the looks of it, but it's pretty good. The seller is wonderful and I really appreciate his efforts to make this buyer happy.
