Does not support DFS channels, so you are limited to 2 5GHz channels. Pray you don't have neighbors who have a router that doesn't support DFS. I regret buying this router. There are SIX 80MHz WiFi channels in 5GHz. You can always use two channels. However, to use the other four DFS channels, the router must enable special processing to avoid interference with existing uses (weather radar and military applications; highlighted in red at right) and pass FCC certification tests. In short, if you buy a router that doesn't support DFS connections, you're limited to only having TWO 80MHz channels available on the 5GHz band, reducing the chance of sharing that channel with others (in the proximity) is significantly increased - meaning you're using the entire bandwidth. If your router supports DFS links, you're much more likely to be alone on your own link, meaning all of the bandwidth on the link is yours.
