Bought 6 months ago, still works like new. For a good five years now, my daily driver has been a 14-inch Razerblade that has serious cooling issues - combining it with a particularly hot and humid climate is a recipe for disaster. My last 2 razor blades have lasted me 2 years each and ended up with all sorts of wear and tear like screen burn-in and a built in keyboard that was literally too hot to touch for too long. I went through all types of cooling. Systems from Coolermaster gadgets to DIY ice packs (don't do that lol) and this pillow is by far the best you can get. For TWENTY dollars you get a cooling pad that is insanely light and quiet, but does its job well. I have a couple of minor things that I think are worth the price: the power cord (via USB) is short and not braided, which can lead to wear and tear, especially if you don't respect cords (I abuse cords, sue me! ) and if you prefer to connect the pad to something other than your laptop, for example. USB socket for charging, you need an extension cable. A switch to turn the lights off when active would be nice, especially for late-night internet nonsense. The front of the platform could be a bit thinner. Combined with the thickness of the laptop, users of the built-in keyboard may experience some discomfort. If you are one of them, a mechanical keyboard is highly recommended. so nice to click em.-grip pads could be bigger/stickier. it's really just a personal preference. I put my laptop down and connect to my setup, so I prefer not to let my pads move too easily. Overall a solid 4.7 from me. a new model with 5 fans for redundant cooling is to be purchased soon. great price it seems. @KLIM damn good job and I can say you will complete your mission in no time.
