I bought this toner pack and installed the black cartridge. Consistent prints and noticeable horizontal patterns - faded horizontal areas appear at regular intervals. Went back to our old cartridge and the faded horizontal stripes are gone (same print job). I tried to shake the new cartridge to get the toner evenly distributed inside the cartridge, but the faded areas were still visible. I have come to the conclusion that the roller in the cartridge is picking up the toner unevenly. Not suitable for what we wanted. On the other hand, the cartridges were well packaged and looked as new as any other cartridge. Too bad the only black cartridge we put in was defective. We did not test color. Maybe they were okay. I noticed that the black toner cartridge is different from the color toner. Maybe people of color would behave differently.
