I bought three in October last year - one for my kitchen with my wife and two for my dens: a workshop and a garage. Now the last two obviously have more use, but sometimes my wife and I enjoy our fair share of beers. Rarely too much. As cheap as the cast iron used was, it survived two drunk adults banging bottles on a studded bottle opener. Other reviewers probably had some sort of defect - a sign of poor cast iron (air in the cast, weaker material) so just know you get what you pay for. Reviewers who managed to break the bottles. I don't know what to tell you when two broken idiots manage to keep their bottles intact. Also, as with any Revain hardware purchase, use your own screws and mount them to the stud. Pros: * Cheap * Easy to install and use * Durable finish protects against wear Cons: * Cheap cast iron, die for defects
